Retro Synths Vol. 1 for MainStage — '80s Synth Sounds (Free)

The sound of the ’80s has made a comeback with unstoppable force. Today, pop, indie, and contemporary worship music (such as the electronic sounds of Hillsong Young & Free or Elevation Worship) are filled with warm analog synth pads, rhythmic arpeggiators, and classic synth basslines inspired by retro sounds.

If you want to add this vintage texture to your MainStage library without spending any money or downloading gigabytes of heavy samples, we've got you covered Retro Synths Vol. 1 for MainStage.

This ultra-optimized sound pack weighs just 4.2 MB in its compressed file Retro Synths.zip and uses Apple's powerful native synthesis engines to recreate the most famous '80s sounds (such as Stranger Things, synthwave, and classic pop). We're sharing it 100% free with our community.

What's included in Retro Synths Vol. 1?

This volume compiles the essential synthesizer sounds for any live keyboardist:

• 🌊 Retro Pads (Analog Pads): Warm soundscapes with slowly modulating filters, inspired by the legendary Roland Juno-60 and Prophet-5. Ideal for creating immersive atmospheres.
• 🎛️ Synth Bass (Synthesized Bass): Powerful, well-defined bass sounds with sawtooth waves that will give your songs that perfect '80s rhythmic punch.
• ⚡ Analog Leads: Bright, crisp solo sounds, perfect for fast-paced melodies and iconic intros.
• 🎵 Rhythmic Arpeggiators: Presets with built-in sequences that automatically sync to the tempo (BPM) of your MainStage performance.

Benefits of This Sound Pack

• Ultra-light (4.2 MB): It doesn't require large external samples. It loads instantly on any Mac, eliminating the risk of crashes on stage.
• Stranger Things Style: The sound design has been carefully crafted to evoke the mysterious and nostalgic vibe of classic analog synthesizers.
• Use of Native Engines: When using the synthesizer Second and Retro Synth Apple's own, it uses practically 0% of the CPU.
